What you’ll need

Salt petre [potassium nitrate]found at fertilizer factorys ask
Real Charcoal [burnt wood]
Sulphur  found at garden stores

Method:
Grind all ingredients separately in a mortar and pestle[herb grinder] once they are well grinded mix together with a very very small amount of distilled water[boiling] until the ingredients is like a firm cookie dough after this place the ingredients in a sieve and pour alcohol through the ingredients[this step can be skipped but your black powder will be crappy] after you have poured through the alcohol or methylated sprits you then hand mould the dough like substance into rectangular shapes [if you want you can put a fuse in them] to dry, on a widow sill is a good place or in the sun .Once they dry you can print off paper that might say “Oscars cracker” or what ever you want to call them but make sure they are perfectly dry through before you light them .Remember kids through them high to make it look awesome as because it will explode in the air
